Tiramisu

Tiramisu’ is a typical dessert of Northern Italy, born in Treviso in the 70s. Nowadays it is prepared and tasted throughout Italy.  Its name is in the common vocabulary of 23 different languages. Intended mainly for children, the elderly and convalescents, the name was initially Tiramesù from the Venetian dialect, which was then ‘Italianised’ in Tiramisu. Adopted for its nutritional and restorative skills, although others maliciously claim that the name is due to alleged aphrodisiac effects. 

The ingredients are mascarpone, eggs, sugar, ladyfingers, coffee and cocoa powder.
